Used, divided back,postmarked Saranac Lake, January 19, 1912 [?]. Handwritten message on reverse reads, "Dear Maggie and Mrs. Lashond. Your Xmas gift reached us safe & ok but neglected to write & thank you very much for them. I hope when we go over we can bring you some remembrances. We are well hope you & your mother is well. This is the picture the Berkeley where Jim is night watchman. It is a fine place up here. We have good sleighing but very cold 32 below zero but it is dry & still cold. Well good bye. write soon.
