Small notebook containing minutes from the meetings of School District 8, Town of Franklin, 1848-1912. First page reads, "Franklin Co. and Town of Franklin, Dis. No. 8, School Book. Minutes of School Meeting held in Said District Commencing 1848.” Notes contain names of board members, and primarily concern the collection of funds from the town to pay for firewood. Loose sheets have been inserted in back. Notebook is bound with marbled cardboard covers and a leather spine.
