Baker, Lake FLower, and others have been added, including an arrow marked "our house" pointing to Helen Hill. Printed caption on front reads, "Saranac Lake, Adirondack Mountains." "Photostint" card printed by Detroit Publishing Co. Used, divided back, white text box at bottom front, postmarked Saranac Lake, October 1, 1908. Handwritten message on front reads, "Does it look natural, Ed, or have you forgotten how it did look? My balcony faces all three mountains & the foliage & then forest fire are stunning." Handwritten message on back reads, "Mt. Baker is still burning. A good deal of smoke but no blaze. Am feeling fine and being awfully good--haven't left the porch except to walk to doctor's once.
