Used, divided back, white border at bottom, postmarked Saranac Lake, October 14, 1913. Handwritten message on back reads, "Oct. 14, 1913. Bertha, Just a line so as to let you know how we are. Mildred in bed with fever high. Don't think she coughs as much as she did at home. She has the most grit I ever saw. We are right across the road from Chester McAffie. Mrs. has been over & called twice. We are in a very nice place. Yesterday it rained but beautiful today. Mildred is very comfortable today. M. E. G."
