Instructions on card indicate to rub a lead pencil or silver coin over the picture. Revealed text reads, "Consumptives should live and sleep in the open air. Bed clothes, towels, handkerchiefs, and underwear should be boiled and laundered separately. Provide good nourishing food, some light work, and amusement."
