Handwritten message on reverse reads, "Dear Nell, I miss all my good friend is in Coshocton, but am quite glad to have escaped all the unpleasant happenings such as floods, heat "smells" and Monford's [?] with the bandit. It makes my blood run cold every time I think how near that child came to death. This is a gorgeous country, with it's lovely pine covered mountains.
