Just passed thru Lake Placid slowly. It's just a big (underlined) summer resort mostly and a skiing lodge that stays open in the winter. Most stores all around close for the winter. The beauty is in the mts. + lakes. Montreal is a lovely place I really was surprised. We have a 400 mile trip to Buffalo Wed. leaving at 8 a.m. Hate to wait a week to see you. We get home Fri nite.
