Black-and-White postcard showing a view of a shoreline along a body of water. Rocks and tree branches are piled up along the shore. There is a small "x" marking a spot along the shore. Printed caption on front reads, "Lower Saranac Lake, Adirondacks, N. Y." No printer's mark. Used, divided back, postmarked Plattsburgh, NY, July 15, 1908. Handwritten message on reverse reads, "Dear [?] Gene: this looks very much like the pond Joe, Fred, and I had our little experience on last summer. I am supposed to be near the X marked on the other side. Everything seems to be working out all right. Yours, Allis." Mailed to Mrs. F. G.
