Used, divided back, postmarked Lake Kushaqua, NY, December 14, 1942. Handwritten message on back reads, "This is the building I'm in - only my room is in the back over looking Lake Kushaqua. The scenery is beautiful - mountains covered with snow surround us! It snows almost constantly so now it is waist deep - higher in some places. The people are very friendly. I really like it alot. Lots of love, Fran." Mailed to Miss Charlotte Leis, 37-43 91 Street, Elmhurst, Long Island, New York.
