Color postcard with a cartoon of a boy and girl. Features an illustration of a railroad ticket, and reads, "Nothing could make me transfer from Saranac Lake, N. Y." No printer's mark. Used, divided back, postmarked Saranac Lake, September 11, 1916. Handwritten message on back reads, "Saturday. Dear Bernice, Pappa and mamma were out for a ride yesterday we had a bay horse and a wagon with parasaul [sic] top on it we went up through a big woods and we saw a lot of deer. Mamma looks good and feels good and expects to be home soon won't you and I be glad. Pappa." Mailed to Miss Bernice Rapaye [?], Walden, Orange Co., N. Y.Collection
