Physical Description: 6" x 9", 360p. Bound in green cloth. Letter to E. L. Trudeau pasted into front pages, the letter reads: "Saranac Lake, NY Saturday 1897 My Dear Dr. Trudeau: - I return the books with many thanks. In the letters of Romanes the correspondences on pages 157 to 160 is especially significant. I hardly think his skepticism deeply engrained and that all along he [...] that faith must be his ultimate conclusion. There were obstacles, to be sure, which could not be explained away but he must have [even daily] realized that the difficulty lay not in religion but in himself. Very Sincerely Theodore G.
