Black-and-White photograph postcard of a float in a Winter Carnival parade. Several people are standing on the float, which features a throne of sorts. There is a woman in a tiara and fur cape seated on the throne. The float is pulled by a team of horses. There is a handwritten "x" above one of the people on the float, and "1917" is written in the bottom left corner. No photographer's mark. Used, divided back, white border, not postmarked. Handwritten note across reverse reads, "This is the queen of the carnival float. Me with the X over my head."Collection
