Handwritten message on reverse reads, "Dear Eileen- I was very glad to receive your little letter. I am feeling great. How is Jack McLaren? I heard from Bunny that he is our new master. How is Julia [underlined] and Germany [underlined]. Don't worry about the Father yet [underlined]. I received a nice letter from Jimmie Kelly. He is well. Have you seen Mae lately. I heard there was some service Friday night. I would been very glad to be there. But--. Hope all my old chums are well. I wish the cold weather was here. I like to see some snow.
