16mm film reel, primarily of water activities and sports in and around Saranac Lake. Handwritten note in can with film reads, "Spring - 1956. Ed V's kitchen door. April 1st. Kids said a squirrel was in the rain pipe. It happened before. We were all at Ed's for Sunday dinner. Will & family, Janet & I and of course Ed's family. New power mower. Janet S. V. - Ed S. V. - Sam [?]. The Bay. June. Bill learns to row. Ed in the boat. Mike & Bill rowing. Mike crawling in speed boat. Just a passing cabin cruiser. Mrs. Jim Cohen takes a row. Jim Cohen, Jim Jr., and youngest Cameron [?]. Sailboats for a change. July 12-21, Saranac Lake, N.Y. Charles Wilson, Russ Scheid, Bob [?] & [?]. Some water ski-ers on Lake Flower. Ski contest, 7/15/56 Saranac. More water skiing at cabins. Bob M. & Charlie W. on one of the warmer days. Russ takes a swim. Four at a time on skis. Five at a time on skis."
