Black-and-White photograph postcard showing a small horse-drawn decorated float for a Winter Carnival parade. A single person is seated on the float, which is very low to the ground. The float is rounding the corner past the Grand Union Hotel, and spectators can be seen lining the street. No photographer's mark. Used, divided back, white border, postmarked Saranac Lake, July 11, 1915. Handwritten message on reverse reads, "July 12, 1915. I went to see thy Harre [?]. He is fine I called him and he came to me [?] are all rite. He is nice an brown [?]. Will rite soon. B.H." Mailed to Mr. Will Rorley, [?], NY.Subject Place
