Handwritten message on back reads, "Dear Miss Crouley, I suppose Maman told you I had a little relapse but I feel very good now. I've gained 12 lbs since I'm here. I was awful sorry to hear about Mrs. Young but I guess we all have to go when our time comes. Give me love to all the girls. Lea. Hoping you are in the best of health, I remain ever a friend, Lea.
