Handwritten message on reverse reads, "Mr. Smith [?] visited me yesterday afternoon, two men came this morning and took my fingerprints under the Alien Registration Act. They seemed surprised at the depth and clearness of the lines. Ernest Wilcox has T. B. and is in a nearby sanitarium. Gussie and the baby are fine. The lake is frozen over and covered with snow."
