Description

Program for the musical satire, "Addie Rondack Goes to Town" written by Thomas B. Cantwell and starring Rev. J. Reginald Butt and Esmond W. Sears. The show was presented by the Saranac Lake Rotary Club in conjunction with the coronation of the King and Queen of Winter Carnival on Friday, February 13, 1959 at the Pontiac Theatre. Ticket sales to benefit the Scholarship Fund, Dental Fund, and Hospital Parking Lot Project. The program has illustrations of a man wearing a coon hat walking from a cabin in the woods into a cityscape on the front cover. The back cover has an advertisement for Paul Smith's Electric Co. There are many additional advertisements for local businesses inside the program as well as information about the 1959 Winter Carnival.
