Description

Program for the "Hi-Lites of 1948," presented by the Auxiliary of the General Hospital of Saranac Lake, June 28, 1948. Staged at the Harrietstown Town Hall by John Edward Vogt. Includes lists of performances [see 2025.1.72 for script to "In the Emperor's Garden"], casts, and crew. Skits and musical numbers were performed by the Deerwood-Adirondack Music Center, the 8th grade class, the Knights of Columbus Quartette, the Catholic Daughters of America, the Loyal Order of Moose, the Saranac Lake Lions Club, the Women's College Club, Saranac Lake Rotary, the Teen Canteeners, and the Saranac Lake Medical Society. Includes advertisements for local businesses.
