Photograph of the sunrise sky over cure cottages on Helen Hill, likely taken from a cure porch on the back of the northern building of the Alta Vista Lodge. The cottage at 39 [71] Clinton Avenue, where Adelaide Crapsey would cure in 1913, is visible at the center-left. Next to it is the cottage at 37 [61] Clinton Avenue. A portion of the cure porch at the southern Alta Vista Lodge building is visible at right. The Ice Palace, then built on Slater Hill, is visible in the distance over the roof of 37 Clinton Avenue. The back side of the River Street School is visible over the left-hand porch of 39 Clinton Avenue.Photograph Details
