Correspondence sent to Alice L. Betters by Lemuel B. Magill in 1905. Includes letters and envelopes, postcards, a business card, and handwritten notes by Alice. Alice and Lemuel were later married. All letters from Lemuel have handwritten annotations in pencil about their tumultuous courtship, written by Alice at a later unidentified date. Letters were sent from Asheville, NC, North Adams, MA, Macon, GA, and Saranac Lake, NY. Includes two different styles of letterhead from the Riverside Inn.
