There is a caption beneath the images, "Front and back view of Roman Catholic Church given to the people of Raquette Lake by W. W. Durant., Saranac Inn Episcopal Church., Roman Catholic Church at Old Forge." The other side has two printed photographs, one of a cottage in a wooded area, and the other of taxidermy deer and one bear cub. Beneath the cottage is the caption "Cottage of A. M. Church, Taxidermist, Old Forge. Mr. Church has long held the position of secretary of the Adirondack Guides Association."
