"Structural Tonality," dissertation written by Frederick Gillespie, submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Master of Music degree in the School of Music, Indiana University, August 1956. Dissertation is based on an early work for Orchestra written by Béla Bartók in 1910, called "Deux Images." Typewritten, 100+ pages. Includes notes and outline for Theory Seminar Lectures, given at Indiana University in 1956, as well as a copy of the orchestra score.
