Description

Photograph of William Schuster with postcard backing, sent by William to his wife Tarsilla Schuster. Postcard reads, "Dear Toots, I didn't get a letter from you today. "Thursday." This is a picture taken with my camera last Sunday and am standing on the same rock in the pond near Hardy? It isn't a very good one but I guess you will be glad to get it at that. It's been quite cold up here for the past week or so and it certainly gives me an awful appetite. Since you left I gained 3 lbs. Didn't get a chance yet to answer Matty's letters but will do so soon. Labor Day a few of the fellows and going on an auto trip to Paul Smith's. Wish you were here yet so we could go out more. With love to you all [?], W Schuster 8/27/08." Addressed to "Mis Tarsilla V. Fletcher, 735 E. 3rd St. Bklyn, NY."
