Black-and-White photograph postcard showing the grandstand at Pontiac Bay full of spectators, likely at Winter Carnival time. No photographer's mark. Used, divided back, white border, postmarked Saranac Lake, January 30, 1911. Handwritten message on back reads, "Monday. I don't know if you have this picture. It's been snowing up here the last two days. Very cold too. Hope you had a good trip home. Nothing new. Will likely hear from you tomorrow. G. W. C. Jr. [?]." Mailed to Mrs. G. W. Caroll, 257 Broadway, Norwich, Conn.
