Photograph taken looking west across the Main Building at the New York State Hospital for Incipient Tuberculosis, AKA Ray Brook Sanatorium. The side of the West Wing is visible, as is the curved front porch. The building and grounds are covered in snow, and a very large Christmas tree is glowing in front of the entrance to the building. The photograph was taken with a long exposure at night and streaks of light from car headlights are visible along the road.
A note attached to the back read, "snow shot photo by John Wojcik."
Was part of an album of photographs given to Richard Kegel when he left the staff of the New York State Hospital for Incipient Tuberculosis at Ray Brook, AKA Ray Brook Sanatorium in the 1940s.Photograph Details
