Printed by the Valentine & Sons' Publishing Co., Ltd., New York. Used, divided back, postmarked Saranac Lake, May 30, 1910. Handwritten message on reverse reads, "May 30, 1910. Dearest Bud, I have not acknowledged your letter, but I was very glad to get it, and your sympathy was sweet and precious. I have gained four pounds, Bud, but I have some bad drawbacks, now and then. I have best of care. Mr. B. rubs me down every night. Mrs. B. fixed up some homemade sweets for you, dear, and sent them down, with some dear motherly thoughts for you while she was fixing them. I hope you enjoyed them. Am in bed to-day, but expect to be up to-morrow. Air is fine here. Am very hopeful. Your loving sister." Mailed to Mr. H. A. Avery, 226 Warren St., Brooklyn, NY.Subject Place
