H. Pierson, Lake Placid, NY. Used, divided back, postmarked Saranac Lake, October 12, 1955. Handwritten message on reverse reads, "Dear Nonie - Nice to get such a prompt reply. Mr. G is in LP Hospital. Better address him there. He will get it anyway. Has pus - they don't know yet where it comes from. Age against him! Beautiful here again but not much foliage left on trees after wind & rain. Best to you both - J." Mailed to Mrs. John Studensky, 1035 W. 16th St., Davenport, IA.
