Dear Mother, The horrid warm weather keeps up + there was rain all night + this A. M. The snow is fast disappearing. Wish it would get cold soon. This seems like April, 50 above zero. My throat is healing nicely from the operation and the doctor is to examine it again Monday night. Haven't planned farther than that. Hope you are well. Much love from Clara." Mailed to Mrs. A. J.
