Wooden clock hand, painted black. Was part of the clock tower of the original Harrietstown Town Hall. When the Town Hall burned down on July 26, 1926, the clock hand fell from the tower of the building and was caught by Albert Evans. Has labels applied to the front and back surfaces. Two are older, with red borders, and read, "Hand of the Old Town Clock," and "Property of Albert I. Evans, Saranac Lake, NY." A newer label reads, "The only thing save from the Town Hall great fire of July 27, 1925. Large hand from one of the clocks in the tower."Lexicon
