Letter sent by Dr. Edward R. Baldwin to Bishop Dallas, October 16, 1927. On Trudeau Sanatorium letterhead, with C. R. Armstrong listed as superintendent. 1s, 2p.
Letter reads, "Dear Bishop Dallas, On my return from New Hampshire yesterday Jack Dalton had sent your letter over to my office and I hasten to write you. We are very enthusiastic over the prospect of your visiting us Nov. 15th to give the memorial address on the anniversary of Dr. Trudeau's death. It is usually held at 4p.m. but both the hour and day can be changed to suit your convenience. We provide travelling [sic] expenses and will be most happy to entertain you at our house. Mrs. Baldwin is now in Berlin where Henry has recently undergone dangerous appendicitis and operation successfully and providentially. He and his wife are deeply indebted to Rev. Leslie Hodder and Mrs. Hodder through this trial. Tehy have been devoted to them and often refer to your visit there. I shall await your reply with pleasure. Sincerely yours, Edward R. Baldwin."Subject Person/Organization
