Letter sent by Dr. Edward R. Baldwin to Mr. E. J. W. Revell, August 6, 1903. On letterhead reading, "Saranac Lake, N. Y., in the Adirondacks" in blue ink.
Letter reads, "Aug. 6, 1903. Mr. E. J. W. Revell. My dear sir: I am in receipt of yours containing your ck for $25.83 in settlement of my claim against the Newbold Estate and thank you very much for the trouble you have taken. I realize the several mistakes that I made which began with my attempt at being considerate of a man in trouble whose brother was paying his bills. I think you have done all you could and as I wrote previously I cannot afford the time nor money to go to Baltimore for a visit. Thank you again I am very Sincerely Yours, Edward R. Baldwin."Subject Person/Organization
