Black-and-White photograph of the boathouse at the Birches camp, taken from Lower Saranac Lake. The boathouse can be seen at left, with a small building next to it with a sign reading, "photographs," hanging between them. The signs on the boathouse read, "the Birches," "store," "boat building," and "boat livery." This building likely held William Kollecker's shop. A tented structure to the left of the boathouse is filled with guideboats. Several men can be seen on the dock.
Part of a photograph album kept by William Kollecker and the staff of Kollecker's Kodak & Gift Shop. Part of album 2020.9.1. See 2020.9.1.1 - 2020.9.1.108 for photographs in the album. A second album is object 2020.9.2.Photograph Details
