Black and white photograph of two women posing next to an eagle statue at the Veterans Mountain Camp in Tupper Lake. Big Tupper Lake is visible behind them. There is a clipping on the back of the photograph that reads "Where New York State's War Veterans are Trying to Regain Their Health. Veterans Mtn. Camp of the American Legion, State of N.Y., Inc., at Tupper Lake in the Adirondack Mts. where sick heroes of the World War are trying to regain their health. Only tubercular veterans are accommodated at present; but the American Legion is about to conduct a drive for $2,500,00 to enlarge the camp so that all applicants may be admitted without cost. Photo shows Miss Mary McGlynn and Miss Katherine McNamara, both of Syracuse, N.Y., besides the Camp Eagle at Paradise."
