Black-and-White photograph of Ernest Ayer and an unidentified young man (possibly Frank Ayer) in a dorm room. Ernest is seated at a desk at the right of the photograph and the other man is reading on the bed. The walls are heavily decorated with art, pennants, and other items. Some of the items are marked SLHS (Saranac Lake High School).
Handwritten note on reverse reads, "Some decorations at Stanford. I note S. L. H. S."
