Cyanotype photograph postcard looking northeast across a snowy Moody Pond toward Mount Baker. The icehouse on Moody Pond can be seen at center. No photographer's mark. Used, divided back, white border, postmarked Saranac Lake, January 1, 1914. Handwritten message on reverse reads, "1 Jan 1914. Thanks for telegram. Could not get one sent but thought of you & N. all the time. Please [?] I stay in once place 2 months [?] to get all healed up. With care and loving [?], D. [?] Drine[?]." Mailed to Mrs. K. S. Drine [?], Redding, Connecticut.
