Had a long letter from [?] and she said she was doing very well considering the hot weather. It is very warm here now and not 60 people in the house. Business is very slow. Hope it will pick up soon or you will see me home. Love to all, Gertrude.” Mailed to Mrs. A. E. Campbell, #276 W. Main St., Barre, VT.
