Description

Color postcard showing Baker Chapel. Printed caption on front reads, "Trudeau Sanitarium - the Chapel, Saranac Lake, N. Y." No printer's mark. Used, divided back, white border, not postally mailed. Handwritten message across entire reverse reads, "VI. The pts. were on the verandas, a girl walking & knitting a pink sweater, was asked by a man from one of the veranda beds, 'Is that hemorrhage red?' It was evidently not very amusing to the girl, and it did seem to be far from Dr. Trudeau's spirit. I saw his stethoscope in the library. At noon I was saying a prayer for you in this chapel (and I did not forget M. B.) and I shall have more details to tell you when we meet. Boat joggles at times, excuse everything. Love Grace."
