Description

A small doll, approximately 6.5 inches tall, glued to a cork base. The base reads "Lavadeira das 7 Cidades" which means 7 City Washerwoman. She has brown eyes and brown hair parted in the center. She is wearing a yellow and white diamond patterned scarf on her head, with a blue and white polka dot blouse and a red wool skirt. She has a yellow, daisy patterned apron on and a red patterned bag on her right wrist. She is also balancing a tied white bag of folded laundry on her head. This doll was purchased as part of a collection at the Santa Maria airport in the Azores.
