Description

Collection of sewing utensils including pins (6), needles (3), patterns (11), square box (1), cylindrical boxes (3), needle cases (2), thimble (1), spool (1), and assorted unknown tools. They were brought to America from China by Juliet Palmer Fanning around 1835. She was the daughter-in-law of Captain Edmund Fanning of Stonington. also ivory pieces with woven strands of yarn.
