Cotton Petticoat handmade and embroidered by Mary Flower, worn at her marriage to Amos Breed( Bathsheba Palmer's grandson) on May 16, 1858, also worn by Harriet Breed ( daughter of Amos Breed) on her marriage to Frank Kehrer there are 25 four inch circular handmade eyelet trim at botton edge of hem 1 1/4 inch waistband with one button closure, waist measures 26 inches evidence of 2 3/4 inches of cotton fabric added to waistband cartridge pleating at waist three 1/2 inch tucks ond one 2 inch tuck on skirt evidence of 3 more 1/2 inch tucks prior to the sewing of the 2 inch tuck 4 seams on the skirt, three 31 inch panels and one 18 inch
