View of “Tea at the Top – A Child’s Room”, as it was decorated for the Designer’s Show House in 1989. The third floor of the Captain Nathaniel B. Palmer House served as storage for the family when the house was completed in 1852. This room held the cistern. It was reimagined in 1989 by Boxwoods Interiors of Cohasset, MA. Designed by Ellen V. White. As of 2024, the wall treatment remains the same, and this room is used to interpret toys and children's items in the museum collection.Collection
