The photograph shows Rose Deveau and Anselmo King seated on the porch of their home at 16 Water Street in 1961. Rose is sitting in a white dress and dark sweater on the stairs, Anselmo is in a rocking chair on the porch with his pipe. Both are smiling at the camera.
