Portrait of Captain Benjamin, Harriet and Lois Cutler. Portrait of Captain Benjamin Franklin Cutler (1830-1903) and his sisters: Harriet L. (b. 1832 - seated - later Mrs P.M. Randall) and Lois S. (b. 1825 - standing - later Mrs. J.L. Chadwick. The back of the painting bears stencils of two names: Legendre and VanHeurck. Leonce Legendre (1831-1893) was an artist from Bruges. Van Heurck is a famous name in Antwerp, but I am not sure of the identity of this individual. Also written on the back of our painting is No. 2437 and the artists' logo, a palette with brushes.Collection
