Carved ivory pagoda, Chinese, in case. 6 tiered ivory pagoda, flanked with palm trees and enclosed with a gate. Each tier is comprised of a six-sided screened room with a balcony and alternating screened or picket fences. Each tier is also adorned with bells at each corner. 4 figures - scholars or aristocrats - stand by the front gate. The pagoda sits in a fiberglass case which fits into a wooden frame at the bottom. It is backed with a red and gold silk brocade fabric.
