Long book with lists of names and pages (many crossed off) as well as day book dealing with yacht races in 1901 and then diary starting in October 1901 with mentions of photos taken and going to Brayton's Drug Store for film (Oct 26th). Lists who writer gave Christmas presents to in 1902 (Herb Anderson, Clarence Anderson, Mrs. F. Smith, etc.) as well as who he got gifts from (Aunt Clara Atwood, Aunt Minnie Hyde, Fred Hyde, Rex Vincent). From reading other entries I would assume the writer is a young male (has rifle and shotgun) who works at the American Velvet Mill. Turned 21 on January 12, 1903. Diary ends mid March 1904. Then have "Log of the Century Studio, George A. Hyde Prop. 1904, Stonington Conn. Entries dated from 1904 until 1912 as it becomes a daily log later on. News article on C. P. Williams driving a coach and four on July 20, 1901 from Stonington to Groton at end of pages (marked) followed by some postcards. Last half of book is empty.
