Description

Lady's Evening Black Coat Machine and hand stitching Right side of coat overlaps the left side the lower front is curved with the left side more pronounced Black satin with black silk satin lining with an underlining of fine wool Sailor style collar with widelarge lapels heavily embelished with black cording and 2 inch wide black cordory trim same design repeated on sleeve edge straight sleeves gathered at shoulders black hook mid Right lapel fastens to black eye in Left lapel black hook lower Right lapel attaches to black thread loop below Left lapel mid front is one inch knoted black cording applied in a circle, in the center is a round satin covered ball from which a 6 inch black tassel hangs along with 3 satin twisted cords of varied lengths with large knotted ends. Behind this embelishment is a black hook which attached to a missing thread loop.
