Wooden sign measuring 35 inches by 9 inches. Painted white with mustard yellow trim. Sign reads "Wadawanuck Hotel 1837-1891". Found in the attic of the Stonington Free Library and given to donor. Originally hung on the exterior of the Library in the 20th century to mark the place of the previous hotel. Mounting screws which were in the two holes are taped to the back.Collection
