Description

Stand up, parlor sized Victrola made by Columbia Granofola Company. Model E-2, probably made in the late 1920s. It was original to the home at 19 School Street in the Borough, where Frederick Souza grew up. Volume is controlled by opening or closing wooden slats at the front. Replaceable needle. Felt turntable. Storage for additional records behind two cabinet doors on the front.
