Description

A collection of Ladies Cabin design, blue and white serveware from the Boston Mails steam-sail line, which carried mail and passengers trans-atlantic. Names of Cunard line ships are detailed around the rim: Brittania, Columbia, Caledonia, Acadia. A & B - Two ten inch dinner plates. One has two chips in the rim. Both show signs of use, but are in excellent condition. C - 15.5 inch serving platter, featuring a fuller scene of the Ladies Cabin print. Six women sit and stand around in a drawing room. D - Lidless serving tureen with small pedestal base. Ten inches square. E & F - Ten inch square serving tureen with lid.
